We are centrally located in a beautiful, quiet, small town, with lot's of peace and quiet and a friendly atmosphere.
We are only 150 miles from Dallas and Houston, 100 miles from Austin and 40 miles from Bryan/College Station.
That puts you close enough for day trips, but not too close to have to deal with constant traffic and crowds.
If you are just passing through on your way to the Valley for the winter, we are a great convenient stop to get some rest for the evening.
The nearby towns of Franklin, (1 1/2 miles) and Hearne, (10 miles) offer good restaurants, grocery stores with friendly cashiers, and convenient libraries for those who like to read.
If you like winter, we get just enough to make it enjoyable, but not enough to make it miserable. There are generally no great extremes like huge snowstorms or very low temperatures.
Here at the park, we provide free wifi with no password needed, good cell phone signals for most providers, and a book exchange to swap out your well read books.
We fill propane tanks, carry RV parts in the store for most common mishaps and can order anything you may need that we don't stock with very fast delivery.
We even offer onsite computer repair for those times things just seem to go wrong.
During the summer, our sparkling clean pool is great for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring the area.
We offer laundry facilities on a first come first served basis with two washers and dryers and, if you don't feel like doing your own, we have laundry services available.
Our Shower house is second to none, and is not one of those communal shower/locker rooms.
We offer individual bathrooms with shower for both men and women.
We have both 30 and 50 amp hookups and offer 10 pull throughs for those that aren't comfortable backing into a spot for the night.
